The Hitit University Faculty of Health Sciences 2025-2026 Academic Year Spring Semester Academic Board Meeting was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in the faculty conference hall, chaired by our Dean, Prof. Dr. Selen ÖZAKAR AKÇA. Our vice deans and faculty academic staff attended the meeting. The meeting comprehensively addressed the faculty's educational activities, academic processes, and institutional development efforts. Principles regarding course delivery, consultancy services, accreditation studies, examination procedures, and internship processes were evaluated. Information was also provided on relevant legislative changes, "Smoke-Free Campus" practices, library facilities, and support mechanisms for academic work. Social and academic activities undertaken were also discussed and opinions exchanged. During the meeting, Beril Beyza PEKSAK (Nutrition and Dietetics Department), Tuğba KARATAŞ (Nursing Department), and Ümüş BAYSAL (Child Development Department), the three most successful students in our faculty based on their YANO-GANO averages for the 2025-2026 Fall Semester, were congratulated. Our Dean, Prof. Dr. Selen ÖZAKAR AKÇA, presented the students with their certificates of achievement and gifts. As part of the gowning ceremony for our faculty members who received academic titles; Prof. Dr. Emrah BİLGENER, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Ahu Pınar TURAN İBİŞ, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Dilara DERİCİOĞLU, Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Fatma YILDIRIM, and Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Şehriban DUYAR ÖZER were congratulated and wished continued success in their academic work. The meeting concluded after receiving the opinions and suggestions of our academic staff.
